Preparatory product discounts and extended access to support MCCQE Part I candidates
The Medical Council of Canada (MCC) understands the concerns of candidates and students affected by the postponement of the April-May 2020 Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE) Part I. By making preparatory products more accessible, the MCC hopes that some of the hardship experienced by candidates due to extended exam preparation will be alleviated.
PREPARATORY PRODUCTS ARE DISCOUNTED 20%
In these exceptional times, we are discounting the MCCQE Part I preparatory products 20% for the next three months to offer support to candidates affected by the postponement of the April-May 2020 MCCQE Part I.
The discount extends to our three Multiple-Choice Question practice tests, our three Clinical Decision-Making practice tests, and our full-length Preparatory Examination. All of these products include correct responses, and the Preparatory Exam also includes rationales and references.
The MCC is not crediting or refunding purchases made prior to April 20, 2020.
Information about the MCC’s preparatory products is available here, and may be purchased by logging into the Practice Test Portal.
ACCESS PERIOD OF PRACTICE TESTS EXTENDED
If your purchase was made February 13, 2020 or later, you will now have access to your practice tests until June 30, 2020.
For purchased tests that have a status of “not started” or “in progress”, this will happen automatically in the Practice Test Portal on April 20. If your test has a status of “completed” or access has already expired, the MCC will provide you with a new access code to restart your test beginning the week of April 20. Please be patient with our staff and allow up to five business days, from April 20, to receive your new access code. Watch for an email from practicetests@mcc.ca.
All new practice test purchases will automatically be set to expire June 30, 2020. Preparatory Examination purchases will continue to expire six months from the date of purchase.
